The Chicago Antiquarian Map, Book & Ephemera Fair will be held on the first floor of the Newberry Library. The fair will consist of over 30 antique map, book, ephemera and book dealers from all across North America and parts of Europe. Thousands of maps, prints, and books spanning over 500 years of art and history will be on display and available for purchase over this three day event.

Tickets

The period for online ticket sales has expired. Tickets may now be purchased at the door during fair hours.

Preview Night Cocktail Reception: $40 / person at the door.

Adults: $10       Seniors (65+) & Students (w/ID): $5    Kids (12 & Under): FREE

Friday: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM                                                          Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Preview Night tickets include FREE admission for the rest of the weekend.

  • General admission tickets are also good for the entire weekend.

  • All tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Attendees that purchase their online will be able to skip registration at the door for quicker entry.

The Chicago Map Fair is proudly supported by the Chicago Map Society.  The Chicago Map Society is the oldest map society in North America, and has held monthly meetings at The Newberry since 1976. The society occasionally sponsors field trips to view local private and institutional collections; they have published several books that feature cartography in the Chicago area, and often provide speakers for area cartographic events.
